Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Gregory in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Baia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Timos Tsalavoutas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vítor Baia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Guido Vissenaeken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbigniew Brudzisz was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Zbigniew Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 29th minute of play. Timos Tsalavoutas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match.
