Radamel Hendrickx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fauna Utd made a substitution. Yuri Portugal replaced Lorenzo Garaona. Fabian Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Sócrates's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Dante Huts was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Radamel Hendrickx came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Haithabu FC's Ramzi Drouart. But to his dismay, Ramzi Drouart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 19th minute of play. Harold Van Cruchten got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Simon Blomquist. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Blomquist got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramzi Drouart. In the 43rd minute, Unai Sócrates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Jacinto Torres replaced Ramzi Drouart. In the 46th minute, one of Fauna Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fauna Utd. The goalkeeper, Radamel Hendrickx, was totally fooled by Haithabu FC's Jacinto Torres, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Unai Sócrates to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Sócrates in the 56th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Harold Van Cruchten threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 75th minute, Manuel Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haithabu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Unai Sócrates scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Söderström, making the score, 3-1. In the 83rd minute Unai Sócrates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieterjan Anteunis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Fauna Utd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 90 minutes into the game, Haithabu FC's Jacinto Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radamel Hendrickx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Haithabu FC's Sylwester Sobania got a free kick in the 94th minute. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Visar De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Haithabu FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Fauna Utd for much of the match.
