Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Lekubegi in the 14th minute of the match. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaury Van den Berge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake got control of the ball when Willem-Jan Grootjans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Lekubegi in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Willem-Jan Grootjans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerome Ngake was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 30th minute of play. Abdi Mehmet Rakim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerome Ngake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when The Everett Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Lekubegi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludo Vanden Bossche was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute FC Draconia were awarded a corner. Amaury Van den Berge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amaury Van den Berge almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche did a great save. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC Draconia from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Benny Van der Poorten managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Draconia's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny Van der Poorten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludo Vanden Bossche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 56th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Ngake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Goorts, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Quinteros in the 65th minute of play. When Fre van Eijnde, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jerome Ngake was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. FC Draconia's Benny Hill was substituted for Joaquin Lekubegi. Benny Hill came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ludo Vanden Bossche could save by the left post. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Abdi Mehmet Rakim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerome Ngake was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Harald Sulems recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Van Bostraeten in the 91st minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Fre van Eijnde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Everett Hawks's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
