Akis Sarafis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 4th minute of the match. Comunardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Petka in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Palma got free with Akis Sarafis in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Akis Sarafis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Sarafis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dexter Morgan VR46's Comunardo Guerrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Sardanis in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Dexter Morgan VR46 booed when AFC Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Karteris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comunardo Guerrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Sardanis in the 21st minute of the match. Costică Vătavu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costică Vătavu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Costică Vătavu hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Sardanis came free, but Comunardo Guerrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Guerrini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandros Sardanis went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Akis Sarafis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akis Sarafis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes, Bob Marley made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Anfilogino Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Sarafis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Ciolli made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Nardo in the 56th minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Akis Sarafis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Claudio Ciolli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akis Sarafis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. AFC Ajax's Michelangelo Merganiotis was substituted for Alexandros Sardanis. AFC Ajax's Aureo Morera was substituted for Thalis Karteris. Comunardo Guerrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Margaritidis in the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AFC Ajax defense, Baldomiro Nardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akis Sarafis. The AFC Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akis Sarafis should have stopped the shot. Akis Sarafis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Ciolli's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Michelangelo Merganiotis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Comunardo Guerrini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Sterpis in the 93rd minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Comunardo Guerrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dexter Morgan VR46's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Michelangelo Merganiotis scored to the left of an out of position Comunardo Guerrini, making the score, 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dexter Morgan VR46 had played much better football throughout.
