Thalis Papazisis started the match with the kick off. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Paraíba in the 5th minute of play. Nestor Paulista's late challenge caught a Baez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cido Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Bykowski in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmeiras de Plantão's zone, Thalis Papazisis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Meireles came out of the goal and Thalis Papazisis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Papazisis's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Cido Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Papazisis in the 25th minute of play. Thalis Papazisis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Bykowski in the 30th minute of play. Zézinho Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Jesus Carvallo having to make a save. Horacio Jesus Carvallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Baez FC's Thalis Papazisis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thalis Papazisis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cido Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Ni Zhen Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 67th minute Thalis Papazisis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Baez FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Ralondo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 75th minute of play forced Palmeiras de Plantão's goalkeeper Cido Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Papazisis in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Almkvist got free with Horacio Jesus Carvallo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Thalis Papazisis managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Baez FC and the Palmeiras de Plantão players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmeiras de Plantão booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Palmeiras de Plantão got a freekick which was hit by Edgard de Lima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thalis Papazisis in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Meireles saved Palmeiras de Plantão from getting behind. In the 97th minute Baez FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Ralondo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in J.C. 赵永建 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Baez FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palmeiras de Plantão for a fine match.
