Xamo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludo Vanden Bossche having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Philip Goorts kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wlodzimierz Cipinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wlodzimierz Cipinski saved GAIS from getting behind. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 35th minute of play. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. When The Everett Hawks's Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when GAIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdi Mehmet Rakim might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wlodzimierz Cipinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, GAIS's Edvard Björling got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 58th managed to get into a good position. The audience was convinced that Abdi Mehmet Rakim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 96th minute of the match.
