New York Red Bulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Roger Guerra scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Pereyra, making the score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacek Klawke. 21 minutes into the match, TS Bielsko-Biała's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Taci came free, but Amador Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Majorski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save New York Red Bulls from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the match Basarab Panduru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Fagildo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Akhilleus Karabatsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Eduardo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akhilleus Karabatsos in the 55th minute of play. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Zuraw in the 57th minute of play. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, TS Bielsko-Biała's Amador Fagildo got control of the ball when Nazım Taci tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of New York Red Bulls booed when TS Bielsko-Biała was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. New York Red Bulls's Basarab Panduru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amador Fagildo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Euloxu in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Fagildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacek Klawke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TS Bielsko-Biała's Mathias Bastos was substituted for Akhilleus Karabatsos. Artur Ptaszek made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacek Klawke. After having played for 81 minutes, Nazım Taci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New York Red Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazım Taci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacek Klawke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Pereyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Jacek Klawke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TS Bielsko-Biała fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by TS Bielsko-Biała's Roger Guerra. But to his dismay, Roger Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. TS Bielsko-Biała's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
