Barnaba Lamczyk started the match with the kick off. Dong Hong Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Lamczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Francis Calmes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nazım Taci's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Zula Fetor with Lucjan Dembowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nazım Taci took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francis Calmes. Francis Calmes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Barnaba Lamczyk put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. 33 minutes in the game Zula Fetor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucjan Dembowski. In the 37th minute, Damian Chowaniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New York Red Bulls's Liviu Bărănescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucjan Dembowski, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Francis Calmes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by New York Red Bulls's Nazım Taci. But to his dismay, Nazım Taci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nazım Taci to strike the kick off in the second half. Francis Calmes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Balc in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Lamczyk got free with Eduardo Pereyra in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnaba Lamczyk in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Pereyra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Marko, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 58 minutes, Cristinel Alamaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New York Red Bulls and the Ekipa Gabi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristinel Alamaru kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Eduardo Pereyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Pankowski in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save New York Red Bulls from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper Francis Calmes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th play minute Zachary Pankowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eduardo Pereyra. 3-3. In the 78th minute, Nazım Taci made a precise shot to the right of Francis Calmes. Ekipa Gabi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Barnaba Lamczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Eduardo Pereyra made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Nazım Taci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Calmes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Dembowski made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New York Red Bulls's Liviu Bărănescu. If Zachary Pankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Liviu Bărănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, Zachary Pankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal and Zachary Pankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New York Red Bulls's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
