After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alonzo Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Atarrabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Pereyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tobias Constancio sped through New York Red Bulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, Alonzo Atarrabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal and Alonzo Atarrabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkan Temel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Piers Amos fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The lןןl Plebe Del Emperador fans cheered their team off the field, for while New York Red Bulls had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
