In the 45thth minute of the game Deng Le Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Papaiani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eitel Patrzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Le Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Emilio Jakue in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Creangă helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, GAIS's Deng Le Jian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eitel Patrzek. Edvard Björling hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Emilio Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of GAIS booed when Brașov HooliganS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Roşoga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brașov HooliganS's zone, Deng Le Jian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eitel Patrzek came out of the goal and Deng Le Jian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Stelian Papaiani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brașov HooliganS and the GAIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 90 minutes, Deng Le Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deng Le Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GAIS's Emilio Jakue slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eitel Patrzek. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play.
