The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Beek City's Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haithabu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Harold Van Cruchten's late challenge caught a Beek City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harold Van Cruchten helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Beek City a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabio Botello, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Vahdet Ulumeriç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fabian Söderström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Söderström saved Haithabu FC from getting behind. The supporters of Beek City booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Visar De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vahdet Ulumeriç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Söderström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Haithabu FC's zone, Vahdet Ulumeriç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Söderström came out of the goal and Vahdet Ulumeriç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Söderström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ke Jian Yun during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Beek City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ke Jian Yun to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Astigar came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Botello. Fabian Söderström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Arian Beqaj came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Haithabu FC's Ramzi Drouart. But to his dismay, Ramzi Drouart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 46thth minute of the game Vahdet Ulumeriç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramzi Drouart was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Albonico came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes of play, Beek City's Vahdet Ulumeriç made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haithabu FC's Mauri Icardi was substituted for Jacinto Torres. Haithabu FC's Sylwester Sobania was substituted for Adrian Astigar. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 76th minute of the match. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Ramzi Drouart tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arian Beqaj saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arian Beqaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzi Drouart in the 87th minute of the match. Beek City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Haithabu FC for a fine match.
