The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beek City's Arian Beqaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Louis Ouaddou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Edgard Magdaleno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radamel Hendrickx. The goal made the score 1-0. Fauna Utd made a substitution. Yuri Portugal replaced Lorenzo Garaona. In the 15th minute Yuri Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Beek City defense, Unai Sócrates kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arian Beqaj. The Beek City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arian Beqaj should have stopped the shot. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Beek City's Radamel Hendrickx threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Louis Ouaddou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Radamel Hendrickx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Magdaleno in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx got control of the ball when Edgard Magdaleno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arian Beqaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieterjan Anteunis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Beek City's zone, Unai Sócrates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arian Beqaj came out of the goal and Unai Sócrates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arian Beqaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 董文鹰 in the 93rd minute. 董文鹰 made a great header on Fauna Utd's corner, it was just that Beek City's Arian Beqaj managed to reach the ball for a save. Karel Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
