Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Ciolofan in the 9th minute of the match. Ramzi Drouart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans-Joachim Amerhauser having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramzi Drouart got free with Hans-Joachim Amerhauser in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fang Bin Tian in the 16th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fang Bin Tian came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fang Bin Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haithabu FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Forza Heppenbach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrad Vrolijcx took the corner. Ramzi Drouart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ramzi Drouart sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Haithabu FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Conrad Vrolijcx hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The Forza Heppenbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With his leg Fabian Söderström managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Forza Heppenbach's Ruben de Wolf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Fabian Söderström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fang Bin Tian.
