The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yanick Goosens hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Twelve Ravens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Huijbregs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unai Sócrates might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Vanden Broucke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unai Sócrates ran back to his position shaking his head. Unai Sócrates could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Roland Vanden Broucke made a huge save. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Twelve Ravens from getting a goal against them. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Hennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Twelve Ravens's Tibor Van Bever got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bjorn Van de Weijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Vanden Broucke. That made the score 1-3 after 88 minutes of play. The Twelve Ravens fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fauna Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
