Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Bernebe during the 3rd minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that William Westelinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludo Vanden Bossche was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx. But to his dismay, William Westelinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, The Everett Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Shantala to maneuver through the defense. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Westelinx in the 28th minute of the match. When William Westelinx came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Ouagadougou National fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Westelinx couldn't finish the play. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keiran Hutchins in the 33rd minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 35th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, The Everett Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fre van Eijnde to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, The Everett Hawks's Rene Vereijt threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Keiran Hutchins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keiran Hutchins to strike the kick off in the second half. Baba R. Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludo Vanden Bossche having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Fre van Eijnde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Vereijt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Ludo Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves William Westelinx could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Ludo Vanden Bossche however easily saved by the left post. In the 78th minute Willem-Jan Grootjans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match FC Ouagadougou National got a corner. The Everett Hawks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hamza Yavaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Yavaş to maneuver through the defense. FC Ouagadougou National's Jedrzej Kiszkiel was substituted for William Westelinx. Hamza Yavaş kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
