The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Willy Smidts hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Les Tigres's Venancio Prejun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ball Packert. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes Ulan Bator Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Yelle Capelle. If Venancio Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venancio Prejun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ball Packert having to make a save. Ball Packert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Prejun in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Kieth Hacke got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Prejun in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ball Packert saved Ulan Bator Football Club from getting behind. Ball Packert came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Venancio Prejun. But to his dismay, Venancio Prejun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ball Packert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Prejun in the 41st minute of the match. Severino Estevez's late challenge caught a Ulan Bator Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Estevez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Estevez to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Enzo Vezin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Prejun was the one to do the kick off. Les Tigres made a substitution. Mauro Abel replaced Sermet Erva. A nice corner shot did that Edvard Võsandi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ball Packert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Kieth Hacke came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh. In the 65th minute Venancio Prejun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Venancio Prejun. Les Tigres's Luboš Štencl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yelle Capelle in the 71 minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Ömer-Asaf Güneş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ball Packert. Ulan Bator Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ömer-Asaf Güneş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 76th minute, Ömer-Asaf Güneş made a precise shot to the right of Ball Packert. Ulan Bator Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ball Packert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Yu Li got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ulan Bator Football Club's Ros Vos de Vos was substituted for Toon Teunens. In the 93rd minute Ömer-Asaf Güneş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Ömer-Asaf Güneş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Tigres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
