The audience thought a goal was coming when Taci Mümtaz got free with Marco Moench in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sansargiller FK's Mihai Oancea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Vester in the 13th minute of play. Sansargiller FK's Francisco Jakobe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osin Kotto, made in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Sansargiller FK's Taci Mümtaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Moench narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Herbert Vester put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mihai Oancea. In the 24th minute, Taci Mümtaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Moench was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mihai Oancea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Oancea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Pausch, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osin Kotto in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Oancea saved Sansargiller FK from getting behind. Sansargiller FK's Seyfettin Ulus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andre Garbsch in the 43 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rafael Pausch managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wöllersdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Pausch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Oancea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Vester made a kick off. Mihai Oancea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute Gavino Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Oancea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osin Kotto came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mihai Oancea could save by the left post. When Fetih Onuker came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sansargiller FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fetih Onuker couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taci Mümtaz in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Wöllersdorf's goalkeeper Marco Moench to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Sansargiller FK were awarded a corner. Francisco Jakobe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Francisco Jakobe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wöllersdorf's Marco Moench did a great save.
