Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Ceresso in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Alberto Abascal. Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pretorianos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute of the match Pretorianos FC got a corner. Amboy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Demario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicanor Demario made a great header on Pretorianos FC's corner, it was just that Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos managed to reach the ball for a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Valverde made a kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Ruperto Modestio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Pretorianos FC defense, Mario Alberto Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Idacio. The Pretorianos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Idacio should have stopped the shot. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Valverde in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Ceresso. Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 79th minute of play. Marciano Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tostão Ceresso's late challenge caught a Amboy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 93rd minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Idacio saved Pretorianos FC from getting behind.
