Pipon Pipon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Jose José came free, but Richard Mühsam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justus Lintorf in the 29th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raitis Porītis made a great header on FC Germania München's corner, it was just that C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicky Bryson to make the kick off. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Rechkemmer in the 58th minute of play. C. A.
