Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ionel Lung started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Zâncă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Legacy Youth Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Tudor Bosânceanu scored to the left of an out of position Joel Santo, making the score, 1-0. When David Cismarescu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buzău's protests and gave David Cismarescu a yellow card for diving instead. Gheorghe Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Chus came free, but Gheorghe Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Cebo scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Reynaldo Cebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Vărzaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo in the 24th minute of play. Wilfredo Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Legacy Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ionel Lung kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jonatan Marin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Reynaldo Cebo sped through FC Buzău's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. In the 44th minute, Gaudencio Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legacy Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Cebo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Montez got free with Gheorghe Vărzaru in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Faustino Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Vărzaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 57 minutes into the game, Victorino Lyadzhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legacy Youth Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. In the 57th minute, Victorino Lyadzhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Cismarescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Chivu. Gaudencio Bermudez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Sorin Zâncă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Joel Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gheorghe Vărzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Montez in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Faustino Montez lined in a short shot 2-7 behind a frustrated Gheorghe Vărzaru. Joel Santo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Sorin Zâncă. But to his dismay, Sorin Zâncă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-7. FC Buzău's Sorin Zâncă got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Faustino Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legacy Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gheorghe Vărzaru. Gheorghe Vărzaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-8. The FC Buzău supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Legacy Youth Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Legacy Youth Academy.
