FC Aquile Azzurre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. A collision led to FC Aquile Azzurre getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lot Itov hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Nistor Beșliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Costanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Scarinci scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nistor Beșliu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when FC Aquile Azzurre's Edoardo Proia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Scarinci in the 31st minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Sebastian Zogreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Beșliu scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferruccio Costanzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Zogreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Scarinci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcu Sângeorzan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Scarinci made a kick off. Nistor Beșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Costanzo having to interfere. Ferruccio Costanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Angelo Scarinci kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Muget's Nistor Beșliu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Cătălin Crașovan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ferruccio Costanzo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Angelo Scarinci charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Scarinci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Aquile Azzurre getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelo Scarinci hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Nistor Beșliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muget's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Beșliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferruccio Costanzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Foni. Muget's Nistor Beșliu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Angelo Scarinci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Zogreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horia Bota's late challenge caught a FC Aquile Azzurre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horia Bota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Horia Bota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Muget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Coman to maneuver through the defense. Lot Itov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Zogreanu. Muget's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Scarinci came free, but Sebastian Zogreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandru Corlățean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Costanzo having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Muget players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Aquile Azzurre.
