AM United were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Thurowken's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelino Palma took the corner. Ezequiel Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Wawak in the 30th minute of play. Teodoro Freire blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Osmundo having to make a save. In the 34th minute Wilfredo Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Freire got free with Ezequiel Osmundo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Svante Ahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 43rd minute of the match. Napoleon Rywin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Freire in the 57th minute of play forced Thurowken's goalkeeper Ezequiel Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Debowski in the 59th minute of play. David Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofil Wawak in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Freire in the 63rd minute of play forced Thurowken's goalkeeper Ezequiel Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Freire ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, AM United's David Bastos got control of the ball when Teofil Wawak tried to sneak it across the goal line. AM United's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
