Kristian Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute AM United were awarded a corner. Jorge Morais went to the cornerflag to take it. AM United's David Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AM United from getting a goal against them. In the 11thth minute of the game Allan Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AM United's David Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Petterssons short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got David Bastos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 15 minutes into the game, Allan Pettersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Bastos. Allan Pettersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, AM United's Tobias Fontes got a free kick in the 20th minute. David Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Pettersson in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Morais to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Angelo Pessoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AM United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Pessoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allan Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but David Bastos made a huge save. In the 34th minute FC Wingspan were awarded a corner. Nuno Caires went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AM United's goalie and right to Cristian-Federico Overman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AM United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 38th minute, Allan Pettersson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Bastos. The goal made the score 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Teodoro Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kristian Modig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Wingspan booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Carvalhal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Angelo Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Modig having to interfere. Kristian Modig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Freire in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Allan Pettersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. David Bastos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Kristian Modig came out of the goal and Teodoro Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Teodoro Freire made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Wingspan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
