In the 37th minute, Jiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Teodoro Freire hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Isauro Sota came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isauro Sota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Pessoa in the 53rd minute of play. David Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Teodoro Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Morteros getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. 林克桑 hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, AM United's Nikos Christou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute of the match, Hermengildo Iruinea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Bastos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Freire in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Santo saved Morteros from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Freire in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isauro Sota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but David Bastos made a huge save. Teodoro Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marco Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Nikos Christou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AM United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Teodoro Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AM United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
