Thurowken were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Fargo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Reno took the corner. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Jan Bette got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, Thurowken's Wilfredo Reno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tjeerd Vonk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thurowken reached it. In the 11th match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Schaars to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Reno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tjeerd Vonk. Fargo SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ezequiel Osmundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Mangas in the 14th minute. Thurowken's Ezequiel Osmundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Thurowken from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Teofil Wawak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tjeerd Vonk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Virgilio Mangas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fargo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Mangas in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Osmundo saved Thurowken from getting behind. Fargo SC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Thurowken's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casper Tinselboer took the corner. Marc van Nistelrooij charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc van Nistelrooij the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tjeerd Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Ahlberg in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Teofil Wawak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tjeerd Vonk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Sander Schaars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fargo SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thurowken were winning 1-2.

Thurowken's Gustaw Tylenda was substituted for Svante Ahlberg. Thurowken's Ezequiel Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc van Nistelrooij in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Virgilio Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fargo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Mangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes Thurowken's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casper Tinselboer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Casper Tinselboer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ezequiel Osmundo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ezequiel Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Mangas in the 65th minute of the match. With 68 minutes on the clock, Ola Kania commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Fargo SC. Casper Tinselboer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ezequiel Osmundo. 2-2. Gustaw Tylenda took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tjeerd Vonk. Tjeerd Vonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Tjeerd Vonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Tylenda in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Jan Bette got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tjeerd Vonk was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Wasyl Debowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wasyl Debowski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Napoleon Rywin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Thurowken's Wilfredo Reno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd Vonk narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
