The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 3 minutes into the match, Morteros's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Dhondt came free, but Marco Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Franky Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Dhondt in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Franky Dhondt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Santo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 17th minute of play forced Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Morteros's Bartosz Gaszynski got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Franky Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franky Dhondt took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Santo. Marco Santo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Filipo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marco Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartosz Gaszynski's late challenge caught a Cardo Ruso Cordobés's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartosz Gaszynski helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Morteros got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Gaszynski. Marco Santo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Franky Dhondt. But to his dismay, Franky Dhondt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franky Dhondt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Franky Dhondt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Santo. The goal made the score 0-4. When Franky Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Dhondt couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes, Abel Quentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morteros and the Cardo Ruso Cordobés players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Abel Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cardo Ruso Cordobés made a substitution. Bennvar Back replaced Franky Dhondt. The supporters of Cardo Ruso Cordobés booed when Morteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morteros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albino Millano was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardo Ruso Cordobés's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cardo Ruso Cordobés's corner Albino Millano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Santo quite easily take care of the ball. Cleto Frechoso got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hermengildo Iruinea. In the 79th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Gdowik to maneuver through the defense. Bennvar Back blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Santo having to make a save. With a little luck, Morteros's Marco Santo got control of the ball when Bennvar Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Bennvar Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Bennvar Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Santo. That made the score 0-7 after 89 minutes of play. Marco Santo came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back. But to his dismay, Bennvar Back quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 95 minutes into the match, Albino Millano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Santo. Morteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Millano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Cardo Ruso Cordobés left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Morteros.
