Aurel Pandrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Constantinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Rolando Sedeni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jessop Salah scored 3-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Isaicu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sumalao FC's Rolando Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Traian Constantinescu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sumalao FC's Rolando Sedeni. Rolando Sedeni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steaua Bucuresti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iulian Ciuvică in the 53rd minute. Nestor Ortigoza's late challenge caught a Steaua Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Ortigoza helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Sumalao FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Ortigoza. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Miguel Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumalao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Refugio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Isaicu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radu Isaicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Refugio's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Sumalao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Ciorăscu came free, but Rolando Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Traian Constantinescu notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Sumalao FC's Rolando Sedeni. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Sedeni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Miguel Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Isaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Koprowski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Aron Ciorăscu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Steaua Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ciorăscu couldn't finish the play. Radu Isaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Sumalao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Ciorăscu came free, but Rolando Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti's Cezar Cernescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Sedeni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Sumalao FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
