Spike Foley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dušan Ančic having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Percival in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Percival's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sebastian Percival sped through Morteros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Santo. 林克桑 kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Sebastian Percival blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Santo having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Newell's Pastor Eufemio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Percival stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isauro Sota in the 51st minute of play forced Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Dušan Ančic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Morteros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hugo Alexandersen 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. The supporters of Morteros booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Percival recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Sebastian Percival who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morteros's Marco Santo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Cleto Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Harry Carson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Santo skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sebastian Percival managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Percival was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Santo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morteros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Carson was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético de Newell's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Atlético de Newell's Harry Carson to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Santo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dušan Ančic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Iruinea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Dušan Ančic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atlético de Newell played a much better game than Morteros and deserved their victory. The Morteros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
