Iosif Roşoga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eitel Patrzek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Mangas's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Virgilio Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgilio Mangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eitel Patrzek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Mangas ran back to his position shaking his head. Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Mangas in the 17th minute of play. Tjeerd Vonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Papaiani in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Casper Tinselboer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eitel Patrzek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc van Nistelrooij to maneuver through the defense. Tjeerd Vonk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gavril Argăseală. If Virgilio Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Marc van Nistelrooij made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tjeerd Vonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Papaiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc van Nistelrooij made a kick off. If Virgilio Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 51 minutes into the match, Brașov HooliganS's goalkeeper Eitel Patrzek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Mangas. Virgilio Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Mangas got free with Eitel Patrzek in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Stelian Papaiani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tjeerd Vonk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Toader Fărcașu got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Șerban Gherasim. Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc van Nistelrooij in the 62nd minute of play. Eitel Patrzek made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Virgilio Mangas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Mangas got free with Eitel Patrzek in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Șerban Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tjeerd Vonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tjeerd Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Papaiani in the 70th minute of play. Eitel Patrzek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc van Nistelrooij in the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Brașov HooliganS's Gavril Argăseală broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Papaiani came free, but Tjeerd Vonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Mangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eitel Patrzek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Mangas ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Mangas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eitel Patrzek made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Marc van Nistelrooij was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fargo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brașov HooliganS the free kick. In the 86th minute, Marc van Nistelrooij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jouke Lever during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jouke Lever hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Brașov HooliganS's Gavril Argăseală shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tjeerd Vonk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brașov HooliganS reached it. Horia Teaşcă took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tjeerd Vonk. Tjeerd Vonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brașov HooliganS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fargo SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
