Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Eufemio in the 15th minute of play. Dušan Ančic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Teaşcă in the 17th minute. Eitel Patrzek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Percival in the 18th minute of the match. Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Foley in the 21st minute of play. Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Percival in the 23rd minute of play. Eitel Patrzek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Foley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Newell's Pastor Eufemio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eitel Patrzek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 55th minute, Pastor Eufemio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eitel Patrzek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético de Newell's zone, Șerban Gherasim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dušan Ančic came out of the goal and Șerban Gherasim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eitel Patrzek made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Pastor Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético de Newell made a substitution. Ken Roberts replaced Devon Howson. In the 67th minute, Emil Loga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Atlético de Newell booed when Brașov HooliganS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Loga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Gamble's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eitel Patrzek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Brașov HooliganS's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Percival came free, but Eitel Patrzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Pastor Eufemio could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Eitel Patrzek however easily saved by the left post. Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Percival in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Teaşcă in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dušan Ančic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eitel Patrzek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cliff Kershaw in the 80th minute. Spike Foleys short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Eitel Patrzek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Foley was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Pastor Eufemio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eitel Patrzek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Club Atlético de Newell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albert Gamble in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Albert Gamble almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek did a great save. In the 88th minute, Șerban Gherasim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Percival got free with Eitel Patrzek in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Stelian Papaiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Stelian Papaiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Ančic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
