An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominique Thibaudeau in the 2nd minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Loi took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michaël Grosso. Michaël Grosso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jurek Ohrem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michaël Grosso having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurek Ohrem in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michaël Grosso saved Fierce from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michaël Grosso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 19th play minutes Patrick Josselin shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Michaël Grosso and just under the crossbar into goal. Salomon Pélage kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michaël Grosso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathis Robles struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jacek Matuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fierce. In the 29th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Loup Grandgirard to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michaël Grosso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Toralf Hell went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Patrick Josselin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dominique Thibaudeau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Matuch came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominique Thibaudeau slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Loi in the 40th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Michaël Grosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Fierce got a freekick which was hit by Harry Saunier. Toralf Hell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michaël Grosso. Fierce's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fierce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toralf Hell was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fierce's goalie and right to Silvestre Loi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fierce's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Fierce players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Bad Harzburg were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Loi to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fierce's zone, Éthan Pichard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michaël Grosso came out of the goal and Éthan Pichard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Toralf Hell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michaël Grosso had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Éthan Pichard from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 62 minutes of play, SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michaël Grosso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Michaël Grosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Michaël Grosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Loi got free with Michaël Grosso in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Loi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michaël Grosso saved Fierce from getting behind. Michaël Grosso was a little too slow when Silvestre Loi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-7. A hard shot 89 in the game by Silvestre Loi from a close distance when the talented Michaël Grosso managed to make a qualified save. Fierce's players were relieved. Michaël Grosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurek Ohrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Éthan Pichard came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Éthan Pichard couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Fierce's goalkeeper Michaël Grosso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Loi. Michaël Grosso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 94th minute.
