The FC Ruscova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmuth Duckadam should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kirk Godfrey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Ruscova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Şoimu in the 57th minute. The corner led FC Ruscova's Glauco Motta to fire away a dangerous shot which Matt Doughty despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Ruscova's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
