Ágúst Vilhjálmsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to U21 Iceland getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ingþór Jóhannsson hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friðbert Kjartansson. In the 9th minute Ciro Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ágúst Vilhjálmsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes U21 Iceland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vintilă Miclescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ciro Cortez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 Iceland's Ágúst Vilhjálmsson did a great save. In the 13th minute Friðbert Kjartansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Gustav Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Zachary Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ágúst Vilhjálmsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, U21 Iceland's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Snaza came free, but Ágúst Vilhjálmsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, FC Ruscova's Ciro Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 25 minutes, Umur Renan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ruscova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umur Renan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Iceland's Ágúst Vilhjálmsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Snaza in the 29th minute of play. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Kvick's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Ciro Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cortez in the 36th minute of play. U21 Iceland's Ágúst Vilhjálmsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Snaza in the 40th minute of play. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ruscova's Zachary Snaza. But to his dismay, Zachary Snaza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Umur Renan might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ágúst Vilhjálmsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umur Renan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ruscova's Umur Renan. But to his dismay, Umur Renan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The U21 Iceland players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ruscova were winning 0-5.

With a little luck, U21 Iceland's Ágúst Vilhjálmsson got control of the ball when Gustav Kvick tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, FC Ruscova's Glauco Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Iceland's zone, Umur Renan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson came out of the goal and Umur Renan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Manuel Şoimu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ciro Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Cortez took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ágúst Vilhjálmsson. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. But to his dismay, Umur Renan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 88 minutes into the game, FC Ruscova's Zachary Snaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 91st minute, Umur Renan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Ágúst Vilhjálmsson had great luck who in the 95thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zachary Snaza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 96th minute, Umur Renan made a precise shot to the right of Ágúst Vilhjálmsson. U21 Iceland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13.
