In the 13th minute, Olly Nethercot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maciej Zyskowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Matthieu Abelard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Font showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olly Nethercot, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Hugo Alexandersen got a free kick in the 41st minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tytus Jeziorkowski made the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthieu Abelard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Jeziorkowski in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Modesto Font got control of the ball when Hugo Alexandersen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olly Nethercot hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Matthieu Abelard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Zbyszko Wysocki made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthieu Abelard was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute Olly Nethercot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Font saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Hugo Alexandersen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Modesto Font, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Nethercot in the 79th minute of play forced ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goalkeeper Modesto Font to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Alexandersen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Modesto Font made a huge save. Tytus Jeziorkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ↖ Sagittarius ↗ booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amanda Hoffs didn't get a good kick on the ball.
