With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignatius Casasola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan McCunn came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Miroslaw Pazura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ignatius Casasola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Miroslaw Pazura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Pazura in the 21st minute of play. Ronan McCunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, The Huns's Ronan McCunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Pazura in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslaw Pazura in the 40th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Aloísio Garcez threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Huns's Sigfrid Weikert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Sigfrid Weikert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatius Casasola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronan McCunn went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Miroslaw Pazura made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Răzvan Gorjanu was slow to take the kick. During this time The Huns's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nicholas Ramachandran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ignatius Casasola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save The Huns from getting a goal against them. The The Huns fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garanhão do SUL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Huns.
