Christer Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Debowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Sture Stensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Osmundo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thurowken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Hedman was slow to take the kick. During this time Pepsi FC's players had a chance to rest. Pepsi FC's Allan Hedman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ezequiel Osmundo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, Károly Csorba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Wilfredo Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofil Wawak to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofil Wawak came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christer Forsberg could save by the left post. Thurowken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepsi FC the free kick. After 94 played minutes Thurowken got a freekick which was hit by 袁斐棋. Ezequiel Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hedman in the 95th minute of play.
