If Robustiano Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Giro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Ančic saved Club Atlético de Newell from getting behind. Eser Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Bruninho Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eser Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Foley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, A T A B E Y - Fener45's Dušan Ančic threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruninho Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 36 minutes into the match, A T A B E Y - Fener45's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Percival came free, but Eser Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Fernandes in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A T A B E Y - Fener45's goalkeeper Eser Ulutaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Harry Carson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A T A B E Y - Fener45's Eser Ulutaş did a great save. Eser Ulutaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Percival in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Robustiano Giro made the kick off in the second half. Dušan Ančic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Giro in the 50th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Alexandersen got free with Eser Ulutaş in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shi Jing Hao charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shi Jing Hao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shi Jing Hao kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sebastian Percival fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Ulutaş having to interfere. The A T A B E Y - Fener45 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético de Newell's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético de Newell.
