After 4 played minutes FC Inter Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Chivu. Nichifor Măgurean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Tworek in the 16th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes FC Inter Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Chitimia. In the 22nd minute of the match Szymon Hryc shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Măgurean showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mihai Stolojan's late challenge caught a Wachteldorf SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihai Stolojan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Przemyslaw Tworek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Wachteldorf SA booed when FC Inter Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Chivu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafal Felenak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 林晨川, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 林晨川 to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bogdan Gherasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Nieruchliwy got free with Nichifor Măgurean in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nichifor Măgurean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pachucki in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes FC Inter Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szymon Hryc who took care of the corner kick. Szymon Hryc made a great header on Wachteldorf SA's corner, it was just that FC Inter Craiova's Nichifor Măgurean managed to reach the ball for a save. When Alexandru Chitimia fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Inter Craiova's protests and gave Alexandru Chitimia a yellow card for diving instead.
