An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Sha Zhen in the 3rd minute of play forced A T A B E Y - Fener45's goalkeeper Eser Ulutaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abdurrezzak Türev came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the A T A B E Y - Fener45 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdurrezzak Türev couldn't finish the play. The supporters of A T A B E Y - Fener45 booed when Pepsi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Koch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Sture Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Ulutaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepsi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Hedman in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Pepsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Fernandes came free, but Christer Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Giro got free with Christer Forsberg in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute A T A B E Y - Fener45 were awarded a corner. Mustafa Arif Salahaddin went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute of the match, Robustiano Giro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christer Forsberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eser Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abdurrezzak Türev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Robustiano Giro sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes, Andréas Stigsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepsi FC and the A T A B E Y - Fener45 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Pepsi FC got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Stigsson. Jim Brenner's late challenge caught a A T A B E Y - Fener45's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Brenner helped the player get up and apologised. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Giro in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Giro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shi Jing Hao during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, A T A B E Y - Fener45's Shi Jing Hao got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Hu Sheng Nan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eser Ulutaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Sheng Nan got free with Eser Ulutaş in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Pepsi FC's zone, Bruninho Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Forsberg came out of the goal and Bruninho Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepsi FC's Anacleto Cutberto was substituted for Sture Stensson. Christer Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Pepsi FC got a freekick which was hit by Hu Sheng Nan. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Giro in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th minute Robustiano Giro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdurrezzak Türev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Sakarias Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A T A B E Y - Fener45 were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
