With a little luck, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Décio Neiva got control of the ball when Alberto Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Yan Penha got a free kick in the 11th minute. Décio Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Mendonça in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Luisão Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. But to his dismay, Alberto Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Décio Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 56th minute of the match. When SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
