After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Gustav Hurtig got a free kick in the 24th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ludwig Delin's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jovens Democratas MZC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
