Axel Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Börje Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Afonso Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ros came out of the goal and Afonso Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Baiano to make the kick off. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the ITAFUT 4EVER players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
