The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Raphael Peixoto got a free kick in the 8th minute. Douglas Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique da Cunha in the 14th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Brasil Ponta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Qjos MiLLano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brasil Ponta didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Qjos MiLLano getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maicon da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Betinho Queiroz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Qjos MiLLano's Simão Soares didn't even have to move. Henrique da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Viana having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Luís Guilherme Quirino made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Couto. The long shot by Luís Guilherme Quirino in the 53rd minute really tested Douglas Viana's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Simão Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo da Rocha in the 65th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Douglas Viana made a huge save. Rubinho Araújo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Queiroz came free, but Simão Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Kauan de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Penha came free, but Simão Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Qjos MiLLano got a freekick which was hit by Kauan de Mendonça. SORRISO E. C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
