In the 8th minute, William Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Gláuber Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JFSP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JFSP! Olívio Saldanha went to the wrong direction when Lúcio Viana was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sílvio Luís Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agua Santa's Tomé Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Ceresso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomé Mota. Sílvio Luís Ceresso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 31st minute of the match. Michel Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luís Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. Jânio Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Jânio Arantes got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Lúcio Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Santa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes was substituted for Murilo Fernandes. Tomé Mota came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's William Barbosa. But to his dismay, William Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Vianna during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Barbosa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Michel Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo de Queiroz during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Many of Agua Santa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Agua Santa may have spent more time on the ball, but JFSP were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
