After some careless play in the KOCAELİSPOR defense, Bogumil Pochorylo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İlhami Muhittin. The KOCAELİSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlhami Muhittin should have stopped the shot. Bilge Kağan Ergalip hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Bogumil Pochorylo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lions Of Turks getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gencay Akbayrak hit a great ball. After 28 minutes, Mehmet Emrah Bakırcı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOCAELİSPOR and the Lions Of Turks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Mehmet Emrah Bakırcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Ruhsat came free, but Inocencio Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Pochorylo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. İlhami Muhittin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Of Turks. 37 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Pochorylo came free, but İlhami Muhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 54th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metin Oktay to maneuver through the defense. İlhami Muhittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Pochorylo in the 57th minute. İlhami Muhittin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Pochorylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Suphi Sebuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Felipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Bogumil Pochorylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Arif Bozbora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilge Kağan Ergalip hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Lions Of Turks's Namık Hafız got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İlhami Muhittin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lions Of Turks's Bogumil Pochorylo. But to his dismay, Bogumil Pochorylo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. İlhami Muhittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Ergalip to maneuver through the defense. The KOCAELİSPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lions Of Turks were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
