Mbaka Mbolu scored 2-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cüneyt Baba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Çelikan Akkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şemsettin Tuyuğ having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mbaka Mbolu in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyt Baba saved ALTAY MYTHS from getting behind. ALTAY MYTHS's Cüneyt Baba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save ALTAY MYTHS from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner. Fiori Britto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on KOCAELİSPOR's corner Fiori Britto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cüneyt Baba quite easily take care of the ball. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Akın in the 29th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Işıkalp Gençyaz came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mbaka Mbolu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ALTAY MYTHS's zone, Mbaka Mbolu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Baba came out of the goal and Mbaka Mbolu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cüneyt Baba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mbaka Mbolu went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALTAY MYTHS's goalkeeper Cüneyt Baba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ALTAY MYTHS booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Orhan Bakırcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mbaka Mbolu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cüneyt Baba. Cüneyt Baba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refugio Pagan in the 95th minute of play forced ALTAY MYTHS's goalkeeper Cüneyt Baba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cüneyt Baba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refugio Pagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the ALTAY MYTHS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KOCAELİSPOR.
