The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 2nd minute of play. Özgür Özbay struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Egemen Toralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOI. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramazan Afacan in the 9th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egemen Toralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Egemen Toralp didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when LOI's Sulo Montaña shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Egemen Toralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Sulo Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egemen Toralp was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramazan Afacan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Buturugã prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 30 minutes, Ahmet Hamdi Ortan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOI were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after AKHisaR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Mehmet Akif Cerme managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Özgür Özbay hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakup Hacıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sulo Montaña was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egemen Toralp. AKHisaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sulo Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AKHisaR's zone, Sulo Montaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal and Sulo Montaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sulo Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egemen Toralp. AKHisaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sulo Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sulo Montaña in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egemen Toralp saved AKHisaR from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Sulo Montaña reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egemen Toralp. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 89th minute, Sulo Montaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in AKHisaR's zone, Kerimhan Cevher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal and Kerimhan Cevher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOI's Semail Ilıca got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over LOI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AKHisaR throughout the match.
