The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Codrin Achiriloaie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kobra TEAM's Traian Tiţe tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Botafogo MZRJ got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Paranaense. Durvalino Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gavril Panțâru's late challenge caught a Botafogo MZRJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavril Panțâru helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Kobra TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Panțâru. After 24 minutes Botafogo MZRJ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petru Hristea who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper Codrin Achiriloaie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodriguinho Viana. In the 32nd match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Viana to maneuver through the defense. Kobra TEAM were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Botafogo MZRJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petru Hristea took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Petru Hristea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marco Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Mitică in the 45th minute of play. When Botafogo MZRJ's Rodriguinho Viana in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kobra TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodriguinho Viana made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Marco Ramos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cristian Ozon sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Adolfo Valle in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Achiriloaie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Kobra TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Panțâru. After 74 minutes of play, Kobra TEAM's Petru Hristea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Botafogo MZRJ's Marco Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Botafogo MZRJ from getting a goal against them. When Botafogo MZRJ's Rodriguinho Viana in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kobra TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. Marco Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ozon in the 84th minute of play. Cristian Ozon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Adolfo Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Codrin Achiriloaie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Adolfo Valle hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
