With 23 minutes on the clock, Zé Roberto Paranaense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Botafogo MZRJ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 35 minutes into the game, Dráusio de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botafogo MZRJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Le Stade Briochin UC the free kick. The supporters of Le Stade Briochin UC booed when Botafogo MZRJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
