Chico Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Chico Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Dăianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Valadares in the 9th minute. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Pio in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Pio in the 12th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Dăianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Valentin Urdăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Dăianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Valentin Urdăreanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Chico Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the . SC Manhattan . fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Valadares couldn't finish the play. A collision led to . SC Manhattan . getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Van Dijk hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Lu Lin Kuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Onea in the 29th minute of play forced . SC Manhattan .'s goalkeeper Matias Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Valadares in the 30th minute of play. Cătălin Dăianu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chico Valadares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Urdăreanu made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chico Valadares notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Valadares came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. . SC Manhattan .'s Edward Czech got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robert Uncescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by . SC Manhattan .'s Chico Valadares. But to his dismay, Chico Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edward Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot. . SC Manhattan .'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Czech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Dăianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
